OUR STORY

Dan Kelley, PT, Dip. MDT started this private physical therapy practice in 1983. The practice was founded on business principles he learned as a young boy who had a paper route and helped neighbors with their yards. He learned to be accountable, reliable and to become better and better at the service he was providing.

Dan wanted to provide a physical therapy service that would bring about highly satisfied patients who completed their full treatment program and recovered from the physical problem. He wanted to accomplish this goal without influence from a corporate or a healthcare system. Dan also wanted to have professional and administrative associates with the same values whom have the desire and willingness to be the best by advancing their skill and knowledge in order to bring about the highly satisfied patient.

Dan has studied under some of the best Physiotherapist and doctors in the world. The most influential one was Robin McKenzie, a New Zealand Physiotherapist. He developed a method of assessment and treatment of mechanical musculoskeletal disorders that gives a patient an opportunity to learn to self-manage their condition.

The physical therapist in our practice are certified in the McKenzie Method. The goal with each patient is to teach them the self-care procedures so they can be actively involved in their care. This is the most important part of the treatment in order to decrease pain quickly, restore function and to manage their condition now and in the future.

Our purpose to keep people active in their daily lives and in the activities they desire to perform. Everyone that practices and works in the practice has had to personally deal with pain and a disorder that has kept them from performing their activities. They have discovered themselves that learning a self-care method makes a huge difference in their lives. And we hope to help you do the same.
